Warangal will become World Class City by 2019

By 2019 Warangal would be produced as a world class city, stated GWMC leader N Narender.On Saturday the chairman has examined essential intersections in the tri-urban communities of Warangal-Hanamkonda-Kazipet. Former TDP MP Kalpana Devi Passed Away

Former MP Kalpana Devi Passed away due to Heart Attack here on Sunday May 28. She Was elected to Lok Sabha in 1984 by Telugu Desam Party. In next elections she contested from Congress Part and lost in the year 1989. CM KCR and Other Officals Expressed Deep Condolences. May her Soul RIP.

Warangal listed in Smart City Scheme

Warangal is the primary city in Telangana state to be chosen for Smart City. The city had neglected to make it to the Smart city of keen urban areas declared by the Union government in January this year. Warangal topped the second place by enhancing the nature of living by 13 percent.After the declaration of first list of smart cities, Telangana metropolitan organization authorities presented a reconsidered arrangement for Warangal for consideration. This helped Warangal win the Smart city listed in secound edition.The Union government had educated the state in January that Warangal will be considered for the second list. Sources said that 23 states and Union Territories, which missed the chance in the primary list, would figure in the second list of 23 urban areas. The state government had presented a draft arrangement for advancement of Warangal at an expected expense of 2,600 crore under the Smart City Scheme.

UPSC Examination Center

The Notification released for 1079 Postions in 24 Services, Candidates from the age 21 can eligible to appear for examinations. The last date for applications is on May 27

Warangal is the new centre for the UPSC Examinations declared recently, totally adding to the list of 6 Cities in both telugu states. According to the UPSC the centers are Hyderabad and Warangal in Telangana and Vijayawada, Anathapur, Tirupathi and Visakhapatnam are the centres for UPSC Examinations.

The age limit for General Category is 32, likely 35 for other backward class (B.C) and meanwhile 37 for SC and ST Category.

The number of attempts for General category is 6 and 9 attempts for the OBC's. Meanwhile no limits for SC and ST's.

WARANGAL TO HOST ALL INDIA WOMEN EMPLOYEES CONFERENCE

The All India Women Employees Conference will be held in Warangal on January 24 and 25, according to Telangana NGO Union president Devi Prasad.
The two-day conference will be inaugurated by Telangana chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, he said. The contribution of women in the six decade long fight for separate Telangana struggle will be central theme of the conference.

Warangal district is located in the northern region of the state of Telangana, India. The administrative seat is Warangal. The district is at a distance of approx. 80 km. from the state capital Hyderabad. Warangal District has an area of 12,846 km², and a population of 3,246,004 of which 19.20% was urban as of 2001 The district is bounded by Karimnagar District to the north,Khammam District to the east and southeast, Nalgonda District to the southwest, and Medak District to the west.
